We provide a mobile ski hire service operating from a workshop in Le Praz with easy access to Courchevel, Meribel and Bozel. We make your holiday easy for you, delivering your ski and snowboard equipment to your door ready for your first day on the slopes and collecting everything again at the end of your stay.

High quality equipment for all age groups and abilities

Our equipment is consistently high quality with skis and snowboards fully serviced before every rental. We stock an extensive range of beginner, intermediate and advanced skis and snowboards for men and women as well as skis for children from the age of three upwards and snowboards from the age of ten upwards. Our range of ski and snowboard boots includes adult and children’s sizes. With helmets and equipment insurance available, all your equipment requirements are met without you even leaving your apartment or chalet.

Our team

Skis Direct is owned by Glasgow born, Jim Bell. Jim has spent over 20 winters in Courchevel and prior to opening Skis Direct worked as a ski guide, transfer driver, ski instructor and ski technician. Jim is supported by his wife Nicki and a team of ski technicians.

As a ski school, we recommend Skis Direct. We find that their equipment is better than other hire companies, their skis and snowboards are always well serviced, well fitted and appropriate for the level of those that are using them. This allows us to get on with our job of teaching rather than sorting out equipment issues.
